The club's buildings are 80 years old and wooden framed. They have given the scheme service but are showing signs of wear and tear. They cannot be extended or built on to and out architects tell us the only way to take the scheme forward is to rebuild.
To this end, we are two years into seeking funding to rebuild the club at a new location on our land. Ideally we would like to generate enough funding to build a new club with two function rooms, meeting rooms and catering facilities and then to revamp the existing site with new road and car parks, bowling green and possibly a multi-use games area.
Well, that should take care of about a million; telephone numbers, I know, but as the saying goes, "you have to be in it to win it", so watch this space!
We need new facilities to carry on our commitment to the community. We are commited to seeking the funding we need to rebuild and take the scheme forward into a new era of all day availability of existing, and some new facilities, to the community
